Original Item: Only One Available. A somewhat unusually shaped German WW1 trench dagger the blade that shows maker's mark and German proof mark. Single bar cross guard these daggers were used in the hand-to-hand combat during trench raids.

This dagger is absolutely original, copies are readily available today, and comes complete with original all steel scabbard with its leather belt loop (frog). However, the closing snap has long since broken. A WW1 GI bring back recently come to light in the family attic!
