The Hendrix Vest in Velluto Noir.
Monterey, Northern California, 1967.
Towards the end of 'Wild Thing', Jimmy empties a bottle of lighter fluid onto his guitar, kisses goodbye and sets it on fire - the light from the flames bouncing off the threads of his vest.
Cut in 100% cotton velvet and embroidered with shallow-grey paisley motifs, the Hendrix Vest is (not a replica) but our ode to this very moment when Hendrix appeared to be wearing not clothing, but a constellation.
